Nanking Cherry Jelly

Nanking cherry bushes have traditionally been planted for shelter belts. The berries are small and bright red with a large pit. How many the wind takes when they are blossoming and how much water and sun there is will determine how many jars are produced yearly. Fingers crossed, we planted three bushes in our yard two years ago. But there is not much hope – they still look fairly pathetic.  

Note:  This jelly is not available every year as we are not always able to get the cherries depending on the ability of the bushes to produce.

Ingredients: Nanking Cherry juice, lemon juice, pectin

250 ml

Shelf stable. Refrigerate after opening.

Eat within 6 months of opening for best experience.
